Be going to: what is decided and what is evident
Be going to has two jobs: a plan you have already decided and a prediction with evidence right in front of your eyes.

A real fact · this is how it sounds in the street
“Gonna” exists, but it is not written
In songs, series and fast conversation, going to contracts to gonna /ˈɡʌnə/. You will hear it thousands of times. In an exam, an essay or an email, always write going to.
I'm gonna be a doctor. → I'm going to be a doctor.
Habla informal → escritura
We're gonna win! → We are going to win!
It's gonna rain. → It is going to rain.
In the Saber test, the option with gonna is always wrong.
